But you are not comparing apples to apples. Go check the lease deals on IM 5 standard range. It will be much cheaper than the ID7, with more technology and more options as standard. Build and depreciation is of no concern as it is a lease and will go back to the lease company.
X power is a car for those who crave performance and acceleration...you get no where near that speed with ID7, if you are to settle for an MG 4 with same speed as ID7...then go for mg4 LR lease and again it will be ay least a hundred quids cheaper to lease per month...I am sorry, but these are pointless comparison. You settled for a vehicle that suits your needs, taste, badge preference and budget,,good for you, yet the comparison and financial argument makes n sense what's so ever

A couple of points if you look @JonnyG post you will see it is an ID7 gtx that was posted so there is no comparison with the IM5 short range as it is 4 wheel drive goes faster, further and accelerates faster than the standard range so the comparison would be the long range and even then that isn't 4 wheel drive.

And as the post says he is replacing an X Power with the the ID 7 so comparing the costs, which is what he did, is entirely relevant. He wasn't comparing performance with the X Power.

Then we would be comparing ID7 to the IM5 performance... Again , still cheaper on a lease and much faster and better options...

And matching the lease deals for upfront payment, 3 month, 36 month term and 10k milage these are the figures...
Pretty much same price for the lease .. but the IM5 performance bags loads more power, acceleration and standard options

You really need to read @JonnyG post as the deal he posted is considerably cheaper, hence why he compared it to his X power in the first place, as I said
