As it is I think it looks fugly, but... if they soften the lines a bit before launch, give it a bit of character and if it is as efficient as the mgs5/mg4 with the same battery sizes then it will sell well.

We'll see if it happens or not. This was floated as a concept some months ago. MGs plans seem to change a lot, so I wouldn't put money on this happening in 2027 or the car looking much like the concept by then if it does.

I'd prefer it if they stuck to plans they'd actually already announced, like semi-solid state batteries which are still nowhere to be seen, even though they were promised. Oh, and OTA updates!

There was talk last year? of an upgraded MG5, images of it looked just like that. I guess MG are just playing around with their model naming.

Well with European and Korean designers going down the box design route. MG thought why not. Im a fan of curves on cars. But seems the retro futuristic sci fi box design has taken precedent.
