Another one for the delivery checklist ?

Hopefully im not joining the gripes brigade on day two but…..

Was just showing my son around underbonnet and was looking at how small the 12v battery is. Then i noticed the negative terminal was not fully down on the post. Gave it a wiggle and it was totally loose and the clamp bolt was about 4 turns undone.

So either China didnt fit the teminal correctly OR its refitted at the dealer and Spirit Corby messed up.

This was on the verge of having the car suddenly loose all battery supply.

There have been a few that have either not let their owners unlock the car or a couple of cases where it has stopped whilst being driven.

I wonder if they disconnect the battery when they are at sea and in storage so the 12v battery doesn't go flat and it's only pushed back on for moving it under its own power.

A few people have reported this , it was one of the things I checked when I got mine. I also carry a 10mm spanner with me in case I ever need it.
