So I've finally ditched my iPhone (yay!) and got a proper phone (Android), which has incidentally also 'cured' the annoying cable/ connection issues I had with Apple Car Play, because as expected Android has much better compatibility - BUT with my phone connected to the MG infotainment system and my radio on, it keeps 'interrupting' the radio and switching to the phone's audio or music.

I know I can prevent this by disconnecting my phone from the MG system ('forget' device) but this seems quite extreme and heavy handed, having to reconnect each time. Does anyone know if there's a setting I've missed that simply prioritizes the radio unless I specify otherwise?

Can't say I've ever noticed this. Check your AA settings and see if "Start music automatically" is set on? (Mine is set to off).

On the phone. (There aren't really any AA settings in the car - it's either running or not).
