Anyone found a tinted screen protector?

Hi,

As it gets darker in the mornings and evenings again, I am reminded how over bright the centre screen is on the MG4, notwithstanding dark mode and adjustments.

Has anyone come across a tinted screen protector (or similar film) that I could use to finally fix this?

Do you have / have you tried a matt finish screen protector? As well as helping with reflections, I find it also takes a little off the edge of the screen brightness.

That said, I have mine set for permanent dark mode.

Yes, I have tried dark mode and turning down the brightness, but it is still too bright. I am looking for an actual tinted film to make it significantly darker, not merely the matt effect, although I am sure that helps a bit.

Window tint film might be your best bet. Static cling stuff

Wouldn’t think so, it’s thinner than the screen protectors. Should only be a few pounds for a piece of film, so would be well worth a try.
