Anyone wash their car today? ?

Etching from bird poo can also be removed from wet sanding with a high grade paper, then polish, etc. Alternatively it can also be removed with a heat gun or hair dryer. YouTube has plenty of instructional videos on this.

A Worx Hydroshot isn't powerful enough to work a Snow Foam gun. You need a proper Jet wash for that. 🙂👍
Karcher K2 with car kit arrived today. Tried it on the bike, absolutely stunned how I’d been putting up with the Hydroshot for so long, I’d forgotten what a good washer worked like. Best £80 I’ve spent all year. Thank you for the tip!

Bonny bike 👌

Either way it looks better than it did but i will not chase removing the etching so much now.

Yes, I would'nt let it get too hot or use an aggresive compound when polishing the roof with a DA👍

Mine is definitely a wrap as it gave a temporary rainbow type effect when polishing with a DA and buffing off (due to the heat I'm presuming).

Mine is definitely a wrap.

They even managed to get a bit of grit between the wrap and the roof on mine!

It's the only bit of the car I can polish in the traditional way.

Top pic is my roof after polishing.

I can confirm that mine is also a wrap. It is only visible at the very edge corners when you look into the valley/gaps

2 layers of Gyeon Mohs ceramic coating finally on, tomoz need to top it with Gyeon cure spray sealant to protect the coating while it fully cures over a week or so.
Covered in case of a shower and morning dew on it.

,,,, and wind damage to the paintwork unless a soft cover is fitted underneath that ill fitting out door cover. Just a light breeze is enough to damage the paintwork over a few days.

Cover breathes and fleece lined, will be on overnight only, used it several times before so all good.

MOHS ideally needs to stay contaminant free for 12 hours, no rain no bird shit etc.
After 12 hours it is less fussy but applying Gyeon cure tomorrow will protect it fully from the elements until it fully sets after a week.
Used same procedure on 3 other cars, 2 Leaf and a Model 3.
‘If’ any scratch to paint can easily polish that out and touch up apply coating.👍
Cover is now strapped tight with elasticated straps supplied.
