App control of temperature

Recently used my phone app to "pre warm" the car... 2023 mg5. Ii I select demist (i expect full fan, full heat and aircon) if i just select "high" i would expect much the same directed into the passenger compartment.
However, it doesn't matter what i select the car setting is always 17 deg with aircon. Never any warmer.
Any ideas?
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and my car is recently serviced at main mg dealers.
I showed them the issue and suggestion was if it continues they will raise a ticket with mg technical... but could need my car for a week (because they would need to unbind my phone and bind another to it to test it all out)

This seems to be a general ‘bug’ as ours does the same on ‘high’? I wouldn’t bother bringing it to the dealer, just use the windscreen demist setting instead…

I sat in the car when I tested it, there is definitely warm air used for demisting with blowers a high speed, none of that @ ‘high’?

I had a problem like that a year or so ago. The fix at the time was to go into the climate section and move the temperature slider up or down a degree. For me this was fixed ages ago and it has been fine since.
