Apple CarPlay MG ZS 1st Gen

Just purchased MG ZS EV Gen1 today and the Apple CarPlay button does nothing when I press it. Any ideas on this? It’s driving me mad pun intended

I assume you have your iPhone plugged in with a good quality cable?

I had it in the wrong port funnily enough the port with the screen share symbol is the wrong port it's just the standard USB port.
Weird but I'm just glad it works.
