Also, scratches don't show as much. All other colours except red (which is triple coat) usually have a white base coat. O any small scratch that goes through the top coat shows straight away. My wife's car is blue and even scratches from finger nails around the door handles show up.

When I ordered my HS PHEV I thought it odd that the only no cost paint colour was White Pearl and Arctic White was at additional cost. I did not comment on this and my order now states White Pearl.
I dropped by the dealer last week to ask about delivery and when he checked he seemed very surprised my colour was Pearl not solid!
