awkward lane change assist

hello everyone, I'm about to buy the ZS EV 2022, recently I tried the EHS and I liked it a lot, and yesterday I went to try the ZS EV, and I found that the auto lane correction system is tremendously abrupt and uncomfortable , and the truth is that I was quite disappointed, seeing how well the EHS was going, I changed between the 3 assistance modes, but none seemed to be good.

Does anyone know if there is a way to improve it without having to turn off said system? thank you!

So, if I have understood you correctly, there are two ways to make the car stay within the lane, one is by activating what is shown in the video, and the other, by activating the cruise control, this being the best option to keep the car in the center of the lane, is that correct?

I tried this, but it did not seem like it was doing any kind of lane assisting then.

Maybe that was the idea ?

You should have a little green icon on the right of the display. You have to pull it twice pretty quickly, it certainly works on mine.

I think TJA has a maximum operating speed, not 100% sure what it is but i think its less than motorway speeds as its designed for town driving

The Lane Assist system is something which can be set in the menus to OFF (which most people prefer and then use MG Pilot) or if set to ACTIVE in the menus it will bounce you away from crossing the lane boundary when you are driving above a certain speed and is ON for every trip you take unless 1, you cancel it with the button on the end of the indicator stalk or 2, you have both Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and MG Pilot activated. MG Pilot is much much smoother and controls the steering all the way down to a standing stop really useful in heavy stop-start traffic jams.
If you like the idea of the safety feature of Lane Assist being there for you if you have a momentary lapse of concentration then you can go into the menus and adjust Lane Keep Assist Sensitivity to the lowest setting (which is what I have done) as the standard default setting is a bit like hitting black ice all the time and most disconcerting.

Technically yes it is. It doesn't have a speed limit, it works quite well even at 70mph+.
