Back Seats folding

Ref MG ZS EV, does the rear seat lift before folding the back rest down?

Can't see anything in the handbook about it, resulting in the backrest not descending as I would have thought...

No, just folds down. If you put the boot floor in the higher position it’s pretty much flat though
