Battery Preconditioning

Now that temperatures are starting to drop in the UK, any advice from Cyberster owners who have driven in cold weather? At what temperature would preconditioning the battery be recommended and how long does it take to precondition?

I’ve left it on alert mode so I have an idea of what temps it might be needed.

If I start seeing it regularly need it, I’ll then turn on the option but I don’t want to drain the battery if I know I won’t need it heated up for my journey.

I have the "Low-temperature pop-up reminder" enabled.

I have the "Intelligent power battery heating" disabled, will experiment with this over the winter.

Just tried turning Battery Heating on from the app (from EV Management), after a circle of dots the battery heating does not start. Have tried restarting the app but still no success. Can anyone get battery heating to work from the app? Am using an iPhone with iOS 26.0.1 and the latest version of the app.

EDIT: just noticed a message that momentarily appears stating that “Battery pack does not need to be heated”!
