As an aside, I see from your profile pic that you've got a roof box - may I ask what roof bar system you use?

I had a previous set of Atera SIGNO RT silver aluminium bars - 122cm which I bought for Ford Grand CMax - they seem to work fine but not sure they're still on sale.

The MG branded set from dealers look to be made by Mont Blanc - and same part number listed for MG5 & ZS, so worth using that car if searching for compatible bars as the initial 'decorative only' issue with the MG5SR bars seems to mean it's not always listed as compatible.

Quite a few threads kicking about mentioning versions from eBay, Aldi, etc - and pretty sure one of Miles' videos of the MG5 he mentions the Yakima Flush Bars.

I use roof bars purchased from Halfords . . . in the 1990's.

Used on their 4th car now!
