So my car logos turned up today ( took just over two weeks to arrive from Ali Express). The wife just doesn’t understand, what do you guys think
Your Dealer must have forgot to stick the MG badge on.Odd thing is, I just checked my behind (hah) and it doesn't even have the MG letters, just IM6 on the drivers side. Fine with me.
Should they have even done that though. I thought IM was just another brand under the SAIC groupYour Dealer must have forgot to stick the MG badge on.
I’d like to change the MG/ IM6 lettering but can’t find it in black. If I can’t find them I will probably just remove the old ones.Nice detail in black @Don H I like it. Are you also going to change the MG/IM6 lettering?
Do they come off easily? Not fancy putting a razor blade or flat head screw driver under there.
I've seen a de-badged nevis blue one on facebook, which I thought looked quite nice too.

If I can’t find the badges in black I will remove them.Much better. Looks great and Gloss Black is the one to go for. Definitely wants de-badging now.![]()
You should be able to easily remove with a hairdryer and fishing wire. Buy a can of sticky remover to remove any last bitsNice detail in black @Don H I like it. Are you also going to change the MG/IM6 lettering?

I just carefully prised the MG logo off.You should be able to easily remove with a hairdryer and fishing wire. Buy a can of sticky remover to remove any last bits
That is spot on. I love that it is gloss black like the area around the rear number plate. That looks class. So my car logos turned up today ( took just over two weeks to arrive from Ali Express). The wife just doesn’t understand, what do you guys think

Cheers Nik, hope you’re getting on well with the car. I did think about mudguards but was a little unsure how much they might reduce range ( you’ll have to let me know how you get on and if they change anything).Nice one Don. Coincidentally mine arrived today and are on too.
Car is white, all trims are black so badges being silver looked weird.
By the way removing the MG logos is dead easy. Took me 5 minutes in total with the hairdryer and dental floss. Just some small bits of residue left which were easily removed with WD40.
Waiting for the mudguards now. It takes a proper beating there. Like my Tesla..
It will be just a matter of time for the first scratches or chips to appear...
There are already some mud guards on the rear…Did not look at the frontI will post some photos when they arrive and after installation. Previous experience from the Tesla is that there is no impact on range.
They are definitely needed. White metal is exposed to mud and all the other crap that the wheels spin...
Have a lovely Christmas break too!
