I can't seem to get my mg5 to keep bluetooth off. I turn it off in my settings and unpair it on my phone. I want to use my bluetooth dongle instead for Android Auto. It worked fine at first until I accidentally unpaired the dongle. I repaired the dongle but now the car (or my phone) keeps automatically repairing with my phone and doesn't use the dongle.
I don't want to use the cars bluetooth because once I turn off car, the bluetooth stays connected and auto connects when the phone is nearby. This causes issues with my bluetooth earbuds. I have to force a disconnection with the car to get them to work. I don't have the issue with my dongle.
AA does work tho, so it must be using the dongle even tho it shows not connected. I think I am going crazy. Sorry if I make no sense.
