Bonnet struts - hydraulic

I asked a few days ago about exactly what someone had ordered for theirs and have stupidly lost the reply. If the author would resend I'd be very grateful

I only recall one about boot struts, which I'm also hoping for some advice on.

You should bear in mind that most vehicles with gas struts have had the hinges designed to use them. Gas struts can put massive loading on the hinges which is continuous even with the bonnet closed. There have been complaints that when fitted they can disrupt the alignment of the bonnet either immediately or after a period of time with it either being raised above the wings or increased gaps around the bonnet.
