Hi Guys,
In my previous MG HS petrol the Boot cover board had a black string with a hook attached which was for holding up the cover while you rummaged about in the storage space beneath...basically it was a string fixed to the cover about 7 or 8inches long with a black plastic hook on it, once you have lifted the cover up, the hook clipped onto the top edge of the edge of the rim of the tailgate opening and supported the weight of the cover which was pretty heavy.... it saved using one hand to rummage while holding the cover with the other one.... my new Hybrid+ doesnt have this support just a small canvas loop to pull the cover up with. Before I cobble together a makeshift one, does anyone know if they can be bought off the shelf even if its another make of vehicle or any ideas to make one? Sorry if its a bit confusing...hard to describe in the attached pic you can just about see it, the string and the plastic hook in the stowed position. You lifted the cover unhooked the hook then clipped it to the top edge.
