I now have a wheel alinement specialist engineer (I really didnt know such people exsisted either) stated that there is an alinement fault but he wouldnt touch it as he said that a brand new car shouldnt come off the production line like this.

By "alignment fault" does he mean there is something fundamentally wrong with the vehicle that can't be fixed with standard alignment adjustments?

An update, MG flatly refused to help and then claimed that there wasnt a problem even though thier service engineer after driving it stated it does 'wander to the left'. I rejected the car so its been stuck on my drive for the last 3 months. Wow! This is terrible news.

He said that lower camber/caster on the N/S was causing the car to pull to the left. But he said that without adjusting it he couldn't tell if it could be adjusted out or if it was a misalined chasis or suspension component or mounting point. But as he said this really shouldn't have left the factory like this and certainly shouldn't have passed a PDI.
