Carlinkit CPC200-CCPA MG ZS EV 2023 Excite

I purchased a Carlinkit to avoid plugging my android phone in but have not had any success getting it to work.

Plug the thing in, wait , wait, wait 45 - 60 seconds nothing. I had the impression it was just supposed to work after 30 seconds.

The internet suggests downloading autokit.apk and installing, have that on a USB now, but I can't find any way to do that on the head set.

Has anyone had the same problem and how did you resolve it.

I think you bought the wrong device. CPC200-CCPA is for aftermarket head units. For the ZS EV, you need the CPC200-CP2A (to use Android or iPhones) or the CPC200-A2A (if you only ever want to use Android phones). The new 2air should work as well.

I have the CP2A and it works just fine.

Well, that explains why the deleted thing won't work, and, why the instructions on the internet seemed somewhat screwey.

Guess I buy a CP2A now.
