Yes, it amazes me as a society that we just accept this type of monitoring, and it's becomong ever more intrusive. I shudder to think where it's heading and where we'll end up. I also hate advertisers too with a passion - that article even quotes someone less than reliable about how consumers "want to be sold to". In my experience, they don't! I don't want ads on useless sh!t every time I open my phone or PC, if I'm looking for something, I'll search and find it on my own terms, thank you very much Luckily there are a lot of talented people out there who create free tools to block this crap, I can't remember when I last saw an ad online.
