Ding! What was that for?

Going along in my car (ZS EV Trophy Connect SR) occasionally it makes a 'ding' noise. No messages on the screen, no icons change, no lights flash. I haven't a clue what it's for.
Does anyone else get this or know what it means?

I get the same in my MG4 and because the dings happen at the same place every time the only conclusion I have come to is the sat nav warning of a school zone. Try driving the same route with the sat nav map displayed and see if it tells you you are entering a school zone when the ding usually happens

Mine 'dings' when approaching a toll gate on the motorway in Portugal.

yes, same thing, I get this sometimes when driving in central London, no idea what it was, at first I thought it was a speed warning but it's not ... completely random, I can't figure out why ...
When I drive around suburban areas with plenty of schools, I never get that very loud "bong" sound - maybe mine is different than your "ding" ?

Mine did it yeaterday. I had 2 passengers in the back and one was pressing on the middle seat. It was the seatbelt not done up warning.
As you know the display lasts miliseconds and it took a while to catch it.
