I know right! Quite an achievement to get 350+bhp out of each motorIt's crazy that we're even talking about such figures really, a mere 5 years ago these numbers were in relation to £150k cars, not 'everyday' family cars.

Well, that's the US artificially quicker 0-60 time with rollout subtracted.New ones are 2.9 secs
I’m sceptical about 2.9; Tesla has been known for fudging their 0-60 times. Besides 3.1 sounds more reasonable as 62mph is 100kmh add another .3 seconds to get the true 0-62 mph..
The IM 5 is considerably cheaper and bigger and heavier, it's a shame Tesla ruined their brand for a lot of people.I’m skeptical about 2.9 tesla has been known for fudging there o-60 besides 3.1 sounds more reasonable as 62mph is 100kmh add another .3 seconds to get the true o- 62 mph..
Even with the 3.1 time the mg im5 is still cheaper I think
Maybe I’m getting over the massive pointless HP these cars are getting ..The IM 5 is considerably cheaper and bigger and heavier, it's a shame Tesla ruined their brand for a lot of people.
To get the proven range and efficiency they get out the relatively small batteries their cars have (compared to theirs); it shows how good their package is.
The recently upgraded SR now has a 64 LFP battery, and on paper getting about 344 miles, and about 300 in the real world. That's pretty hard to beat.
This is where the supercar manufacturers are having to up their game or are just losing one of their major USPs, when a £50k MG convertible can smoke a £250k Ferrari
To have fun, you need to be in the front row
Here, if you're 2nd 3rd or 4th, you're totally blocked in by people in the other lane/sAgree to a certain extent. But being at the front is pretty much a forgone conclusion.
Sometimes coming from 2nd/3rd/4th is very satisfying. (Safely of course)![]()

100% ..As above, once you get into X Power acceleration times it really becomes pointless on a public road.
When i am sat behind some cars at lights it takes them 3 seconds plus to even start moving sometimes and when they do they are so sloooow.
I like to have some fun with mine but you have to be so careful these days .
The EV3 GT won't have the range.100% ..
Yes 100% fun but really really risky these days ..
To much temptation to bury the foot ..
Like i said whats the point of huge HP on public roads ..
Im thinking of taking my car to the legal drags and track days for the fun of owning the Xpower but past that im thinking like i said 250kw AWD 700 800km ranged EV as my daily driver ..
What ever that car looks like im not sure havent found it just yet but thats my idea !
KIA EV3 gt is supposed be real contender !!
yeah i know there is nothing that ticks all the boxes yet !The ev3 gt won't have the range.
The elroq vrs is 339 miles/545 km and the EV GT is supposed to be the same, the skoda does have the 250kw motor and 0-60 of about 5 secs
How funny, caffeine and machine posted a pic from the night I had a play with these two, nice carsAfter the disappointment of a golf r pulling on me at 26% earlier in the week, the XP more than made up for it having a good little play with an R8 and a Ferrari (gumball 3000 livery) tonight, nothing too dangerous, and the XP pegged them nicely off of rolling roundabouts
