i wanted a way to hang my socket up outside (just the granny charger for now) and screwfix came up trumps so i thought id share incase anyone else was interested

I used this one - plugs in so no need for the cap.

Mine tends to fill with water when it rains if I hang it upwards like that, but I could mount it sideways.

I should have mentioned its under cover /roof overhang where I put it, just for that reason (better safe than sorry)
