I had a quick look at the requirements and the Cyberster just wouldn’t meet them.

Probably means killing off the car as we know it in the next few years as it doesn’t look like it’s a priority (think of the software updates).

The sooner the Cyberster becomes a collector's item🤣💛🫡.

Latest modification of the Cyberster 😂

Honestly I wouldn’t be adverse to it.

My doors refused to open in the rain last night and trying to manually lift them was a nightmare as they’re so heavy and no grip.

Adding a handle I could pull on (maybe near the bottom) would be great

So how do you open a Tesla door when the handles won't come out?? Or any other automatic door handled vehicle? Looks like the Cyberster is not the only one.

Did you notice that there is a 'Recess' in the bottom of the door opening that might help

One of the reasons for the ban is because of this.

TRIGGER WARNING: Video shows a car on fire with people trapped inside (no deaths).

Can't make it so it doesn't autoplay so I have to share as text instead of as a link.

I'm sorry to break your illusion. If the doors are closed and locked, for whatever reason, there's no way to open them from the outside. So if the door/window is stuck due to frost and blocked by the system for safety reasons, you're simply out of luck. The only solution is a hard reset of the system by disconnecting the battery. At an emergency, that's not an option, and the recess at the bottom is useless. So, in case of emergency, make sure you can easily reach your emergency hammer; it could save your life. For example, I also have a window-tapping tool on my key ring.

I think we're talking cross-purposes.

@sunbeamowner - my doors were lifted by a small amount so that wouldn't have helped, but have you tried to lift the doors manually? Lifting using that thin door edge is not comfortable or easy at all.

@4Rens - In an emergency (to get in from outside) you should be using the door release override that's painted orange and hidden in the rear wheel well, or by pulling the emergency release cords that are just behind the seats as a first resort.

You're right that if the doors are unlocked, you can help them open at the bottom near the recess.
Regarding the pull cord behind the orange flap, I tried it the first time my doors wouldn't open. I don't know how much force you have to pull (and I'm not a weakling 💪), and it wouldn't budge at all, plus the pull tab was missing from one part. I still need to go back to the dealer for that 🫣.

That's not your fault.

I went through the manual again (and they hide this well), and I think it's disabled unless the airbags have gone off. The manual also mentions the windows need to be down before hand so you were probably trying to force against the glass.
