Connected, not recognised, message

Hi all, my gen 2 zs ev lr, has " Connected not recognised" error message and car will not start. However, we dont have a cable in it, or trying to charge. Anyone had this error and if so, what was the fix?

Try disconnecting the 12V battery for 10 mins to reset all the modules.

OK . thanks for your really swift reply . I wouldn't think twice about doing that in an ice vehicle. are there are safety tips for doing it an ev (other than making sure car is powered off).

Just the usual. Disconnect the negative terminal with a 10mm spanner.

Disconnecting the battery didn't work, but thanks for the suggestion. Had to get MG roadside assistance (AA) out but they couldn't fix it. Had to be towed to local dealership for repair. I will update.
