Its all going to end in tears, the people at the head of the league tables are going to want a Champions league and then a breakaway European super league , sponsorship deals with unregulated advertising rights ( not to mention TV and internet forum coverage rights ) and then be brought back down to earth by the angry underlings and hated and resented for even considering such an elitist move. History repeating itself ? Don't make Gary Lineker angry is all I can say.
