Its all going to end in tears, the people at the head of the league tables are going to want a Champions league and then a breakaway European super league , sponsorship deals with unregulated advertising rights ( not to mention TV and internet forum coverage rights ) and then be brought back down to earth by the angry underlings and hated and resented for even considering such an elitist move. Maybe, to get better coverage, it should be divided into 'divisions'.. Obviously @MG Clive and @salty will be in the Premier Division, with @Scotsman and @salty bringing up the rear of the premier division. Then @Ian Key becomes leader of First Division, with me at the bottom of it? Those with 100 to 200 points get 2nd division with the remaining in the runners up group.

Still trying to get my head around how some people seem to be able contribute 0.25 of a posting though. Maybe the powers that be look at the quality of your posting and award 1, 0.75, 0.5 or 0.25 of a point each

Damn - spoke too soon... Ironically, since yesterday, I've just gained a "5th of the losers" award .

So the algorithm must be for a rolling month, rather than a snapshot award for last month that you keep for the next month. Must slow down my postings on here...

I don't know how it works, you can select individual months, so you'd think it was just a flat monthly figure, but who knows. We'll probably get a better idea at the beginning of next month.

Very useful in theory. No use at all in practice.
