Does cruise control use regenerative braking to control speed? I have not seen power drop in negatives like I normally see with KERS when regularly driving so I'm not sure.

Have anyone done ant testing is cruise control better for efficiency on a long drive or is manual control better?

I have heard it mention in youtube reviews that currently it does not. Obviously we are hoping this may be an update in later software updates but who knows if it is that easy.

Having learned the hard way, the more car gadgets you use the quicker you will burn through the battery.

Regenerative breaking doesn’t work on the ZS when using cruise control it does on the mg5. It will not be a software update though because I recall Miles @Miles Roberts CG saying this is related to the hardware used on the ZS vs MG5

FWIW I can confirm it definitely works on the MG5.
