Cruise control regen

Hi could anyone help I have had my HS plugin hybrid for 2weeks now and when I'm in cruise control and the car self break dose the car go into regen , I've noticed it doesn't go in to the minus ....?

The car is not capable of regening in cruise control (system is based on the petrol hs). It uses the mechanical brakes to slow down.
