Cyberster Sat Nav

The voice instruction on my Cyberster sat nav seems to be not working. I can’t find how to turn it on. Please can someone explain in laments terms how to turn it on. I tried contacting Hendys MG Exeter for advice but they never get back to me

If I had to take a guess, you’ve turned down that specific sound.

Right hand screen (one with the charging and general options). I think there is a menu there for sounds - the sat nav one should be in there and is probably turned down low.

Found the sounds setting. You were correct there was a volume control for the sat Nav which I increased to its highest setting. But still no voice instruction. There must be a setting somewhere that turns the Sat Nav voice Instruction on and off.

If you look at the right end of the blue bar on the top of the map screen when a route is planned there is a loudspeaker icon. You click on it to turn voice on or off. If it has a line through it, it is switched off.

I found the sat nav a waste of time, kept taking me off the beaten track in wales.I use google through apple car play. Hope this helps.

Hi all - particularly Cool Grandad as we are nearly neighbours (and I think Hendys Exeter are useless),
I'm obviously being stupid but I cannot actually see how to start planning a route via the satnav - is it only voice activation? Cannot even find a reference to satnav in the manual.....

Press magnifying symbol on map screen
Type in post code
Press Go icon
To stop press red x top right of screen
To turn off voice press speaker icon top right hand corner of blue band

OK Grandad, I tried that but note that the keyboard input is stopped if you’re driving - voice input - I tried but the system doesn’t pick up the directions very well so I think it’s going to be Waze!! Such a shame the infotainment/navigation implementation is so poor. I don’t suppose anyone knows if there’s a way to make it default to the last screen (radio for instance)?
