DAB annoying features

My trophy has a really annoying glitch. When I am listening to DAB and a traffic announcement appears. You cannot get rid of it even when pressing “close” on the screen. You have to press the mute on the steering wheel. Also, it stays on the station that the traffic report came from until you tune it back in. Anyone know how to fix this?

You can switch this off in the settings have a play to find it if wish to turn off traffic report.

I want to keep the traffic reports. I’ve had Volvos for the last 14 years and once the traffic report is finished/cancelled the radio reverts to the station you were on. The MG doesn’t seem to do this so I wondered if anyone had worked it out.

Try turn it off then turn back on.

Very true my dab in the mg5 long range has been out since I took delivery last October 2022

I’ve had lots of radio issues in my mg4, they know about them and software downloads exists to fix it. Contact dealer to fix.
