I'm struggling to get the DAB Radio to be of any use. The volume is so much quieter than all other audio sources. It frequently reverts to FM mode, and the 'saved' icon type script is so large you cant read the channel name.

I've read somewhere (apologies I cant recall where !) that a reset of the head unit works, it didn't on my IM5 SR. I also read that a head unit recall is required on certain cars (my dealer denies this).

All in all, the Radio is not fit for purpose, so I just use the Apps on Android Auto to listen to the radio, e.g. BBC Sounds. and that works perfectly.

Any one got any suggestions as to how to fix this? DAB radio really should be a simple 'given' that it works without having to resort to AA Apps.

Mine seem much better now than it did when I got the car in Dec. That said when it switched to FM owing to a poor signal it never switches back to DAB automatically.

My experience is very similar to other posters, I find it very poor on DAB - continually switching back to FM and no station cards or info. Hopefully an update will sort it - eventually

The sound quality on DAB is sometime atrocious. Lots of noise and distortion. And no, its not a signal issue.

The quality of mine is fine. It just struggles to find it in some places.

I had my car delivered last week. I've driven it in South and West Wales with no radio issues. Apart from the volume being very low compared to music from a USB stick.

Sorry that is in a IM6 not a 5
