Does anyone know for sure if the Mk1 was built with a Dab+ radio or has had a software upgrade to add this functionality? I'm asking as Classic FM are advertising the benefits of Dab+ so I checked all the radios in my house and none of them can receive Dab+ so I was wondering about the car. I searched online and the facelift ZS is advertised as having a Dab+ radio but I have a Mk1 non facelift. I had a software upgrade in February 2023 that sorted out a greyed out favourite button (and deleted all the saved stations) and I have station logos.
I want to mention that I can tune to 'Gold London' and hear music in the car whereas my house radios only play silence on that station so I'm guessing the car can decode Dab+ as this station seems to be one of the only ones not broadcast on ordinary Dab or on both Dab and Dab+
