Dashcam Advice

I am looking to get a dashcam for my MG4 XPower, but got some questions:

Does hard-wiring void any warranty?

With all the threads on the 12v battery going flat is it advisable to hard-wire it to always be live? even with a voltage monitor?

Is powering via the ODB port a better option?

Any recommendations for a good discrete front + rear dashcam?

HikAuto C8 with 4K resolution in front FHD at back. It has good night vision. It requires new wifi standard on new phone. There is no screen on it.
