No it doesn’t. You are quite right!
But remember to turn it ‘fully’ on ie press the brake pedal. Otherwise you can easily run the 12v battery down and be stranded with a fully charged car!

So you can leave it switched on fully whilst DC charging then?
It’s only when you have the car in “accessory” mode that 12v battery problems arise?
