Digital Key?

Hi,

Picked the beast up last week.

I am just wondering if there is a digital key in the iSmart app?

I can't find anything and I have searched this forum for advice too.

I have the iSmart app. I can unlock the doors but not start the vehicle.

Oh I see you're using the fancy theme, scroll down and click where the bluetooth icon is.

Then click the VIN, and it should connect.

I can't find the Bluetooth icon.

I'm sure its me missing something and a feel like a total fool.

I've changed to the normal theme. I didn't know there was different ones. Still can't find it.

On the normal theme, like mine, just click where it says Digital Key.

Doesn't come up for me.

Maybe it doesn't have it on this car?

You might not even have it on the HS, it may not be the same as my MG4.

Edit, we posted at the same time, yes you don't appear to have it on the HS.

The only thing I can think is that it is locked from the app for a period to stop people gaining control when test driving etc.

not in my ismart app either just not a feature on mg hs phev I think.

not anything ive ever had eithr press button key fob or press the little button on door when stood near door with key fob in pocket works a treat - not a feature ive had even with my hyundai tucson etc. so not something I need.

I know it's not what everyone needs, but for reasons I don't want to discuss at the moment, it would be handy for me.
