I read in another MG thread that other MG EVs do not use regenerative braking when in Adaptive Cruise Control, does this apply to the Cyberster?

The adaptive means the car decides how much regen to use from high to low

The topic of discussion is about regenerative braking while using the adaptive cruise control. Your example given is about adaptive regen mode that is engaged anytime the vehicle is in a forward motion regardless of whether the vehicle is in cruise control or not.

Whoops, senior moment, in regards to adaptive cruise the car uses regen but based on the current regen setting high through low or adaptive.

So if it is set to high and you are using adaptive cruise you will notice high regen when the adaptive cruise slows the car. You can see how much regen is being applied by the negative power figure on the display and if you have the energy screen open it shows you the change in energy flow from the wheels to the battery, rather than from the battery to the wheels
