Drivers Seat "Leather" Failure

Hi Guys,

The driver seat on my MG5 LR (2022 not facelift) has started to crack (the material)

anyone else had this and successfully got MG to replace it? (the seat)

My local dealer is saying as the upholstery warranty is only 12 months I'm out of luck. Got to be honest after forking out £26k for a brand new car I'm not happy that the interior is in a worse state after 27k than my 13Year old Alfa that had well over 150k on the clock.....

Anyone got any experience of this?

Mine's late 2021, and high mileage, and is OK, so far.

I also have a claim in at the moment for rust which is starting to discolour various holes in the underside if the bonnet and inside the charge flap. The MG dealers have asked for a copy of my service book which I find strange given that it's been serviced twice and both times at main dealers, I was under the impression the service history was all online and held by MG when you use a main dealer??
