Electric tailgate

Hello, i found someone who cancelled his order of the zs and he bought an electric tailgate already. I can buy it for cheap but a few questions first.
Is there an installation video?
On the box it said 2017+, Will it fit the facelift model?
Will it void the warranty?
Will it look good of 'wonky'?

Anyone done a boot gas struts upgrade

Has anyone looked at more powerful gas struts for the boot so that when you press the boot unlock button the boot opens automatically? I know you can do a DIY electric opener upgrade, but this seems simpler and just needs more powerful gas struts 🤔

I saw all the threads already, couldn't find answers to my questions. In all the threads they refer to vague threads instead of providing an actual answer. The video doing an installation is vague and with the pre-facelift.

There are a few installs available to view on You Tube.
Here is just one I chose at random.
It is a Gen1 model, but the install is going to be very similar as it’s the same car as the Gen2 facelift in reality.
