I did think of adding that! It's no different to being in a normal helicopter - in fact it's probably quieter.
Probably quieter, but more whiney

So many joke opportunities - not enough time.Probably quieter, but more whiney
They're basically drones with human cagesThey’re grossly inefficient, have very little payload capability, very short duration and can’t autorotate like a helicopter can.
Apart from all of that and they’re dangerous, great idea.
You were selling it well until you mentioned “ brick”Play the video at 2X speed, how much fun do they look like now![]()
More fun than a powered hang glider, microlight or auto-gyro (gyroplane or gyrocopter) ..... just landing it near a charging station might be a tad tricky, the other types do have a glide angle better than a brick, so that needs to be kept in mind

Gravity isn't just a theory .... It's the LawGravity always wins.
There are old pilots and bold pilots, but, there aren't any old bold pilots.
If you ever want a plane flight that will make all other plane flights seem a bit "ah yeah but" ....... You need to go up in a Transavia Air Truck flown by a contract ag pilot ......You were selling it well until you mentioned “ brick”![]()
April 2016 I had flight in a Eurocopter LN-OJF from an oil platform into Bergen. Whilst sat in departures waiting for a fixed wing flight back to the UK on the news was a report of a Helicopter Crash. On it's next flight, LN-OJF lost it's rotor head, the fuselage plummeted 2000' killing all onboard. I rang my boss and resigned from my job as ROV Senior Pilot / Technician, that was too close for me and I'm sure the pilots didnt have time to break out into a sweat! That thing on the top of a helicopter is a fan to keep the pilot cool, they really start sweating when it stops

Been up in an autogyro that intestinally stalled the motor ...... just as we were about to meet the ground, the pilot pulled on the collector (I think that was what it was called) and the thing lifted slightly, then settled gently on the ground ...... I decided at about that point, I wanted a microliteApril 2016 I had flight in a Eurocopter LN-OJF from an oil platform into Bergen. Helicopter are awful aircraft, they should be avoided wherever possible, they have no inherent flying capability, they just beat the air into submission.
About time! for a long time convert as yourself. How is the 100 miles refunded? have they access to your odometer and can turn it back like a 80s dodgy car dealer? My Ohme charger was installed yesterday by OVO.
Last week the Berlingo was charging at around 4.5 p/mile and I had to regulate how much charge it took.
This morning it’s sitting ready out there at 85% charge at a cost of 2 p/mile AND the first 100 miles will be refunded each month.
Beautiful bright sunshine all around much of Scotland today. I’m very tempted to weed some garden ……
or drive a very fine ev for many miles at less than half what it cost yesterday and blow the savings on lunch somewhere.
I really can’t make up my mind![]()

I’ve a couple of guys starting the garage roof tomorrow hopefully. So I’ve just taken my 83 yo next door neighbour to Crieff for a plate of soup. He gave up driving a couple of months ago so I promised to give him a shout about a trip.I thought I might try to settle my score with the Wrynose/Hardknott pass road by I have to wait in for a workman coming.

Just a thought - I’ve got a 16inch space saver from the MG5. I think Caliban has 17inch? I think this wheel might fit OK as a get you home - perhaps someone can confirm / deny ??I’ve a couple of guys starting the garage roof tomorrow hopefully.
