EV adoption ramping up.

We get a "soup" in a can from Aldi that could mostly be eaten with a fork, but we generally call anything that thick a stew over here, the defining point being whether is can be poured or needs to be shovelled out with a big spoon ..... if it is think enough to cut, it is generally the filling between two pieces of pasty and either a "slice" if it can be cut into hand held pieces, or a pastie if it needs to be sealed in around the edges because it hasn't quite set solid ..... I remember some of my mothers pea soup sometimes got that thick you could carve it :D

It is the Weston Beer and Cider Festival this weekend. so I dusted off my old fogies bus pass and caught the X1 into town. It was the electric bus, so smooth and so quiet, it was a plwasure to ride. Also, I love that they got a Bristolian woman to do the announcements. It was gurt lush me luvvers. :LOL:

I went in to Edinburgh yesterday with Berlingo to buy a powered cooler at Go Outdoors. I think every other bus I encountered bore “electric power” badges.
I couldn’t hear the announcements obviously but if they were in the local guttural vernacular even I might have struggled ye ken.
