I can not get EV Management to work on the iPhone app (latest iOS and app). The home page of the app works, as does Vehicle Status, but EV Management just times out. I have tried restarting the app and restarting my iPhone (iPhone 16). I just get a message "The request timed out please try later". Is there a trick to getting this page to work?

The EV Management page has worked intermittently in the past, but is refusing to work at all now.

I had the same problem for several weeks (if not a few months). Until this morning the EV management behaved as if it were not receiving responses from the car. Items like “Requested charge level”, and others were not being received (this was confirmed in the home assistant integration, which showed many of the entities which would be required to make the EV management respond correctly, were not available).

This morning (23 November) it came back to life. EV management is working again in iSMART for me. The only thing which I have done which is different is that I charged the car to 100% last night.

So either they have fixed it, or charging the car to 100% might be a solution to getting the EV management working in iSMART.

Same thing happened to me couldn't access it for weeks then suddenly righted itself.

Update, it’s back to its usual broken behaviour.

It seems that some of the parameters are not being reported to or received by the app. For example, the app would need the car to report back the currently set charge limit after a change, if it is not reported then logically the app will say that the change request has failed. I did notice that several parameters were not being reported by my car in the home assistant integration.

I have exactly the same behavior on ismart on my Samsung (android). This still worked on Nov 19 2025 but when charging today (Nov 23) I noticed that it didn't work anymore. My car is a MG Marvel EV. My impression is that the car is failing in something...

Update, I charged my car on AC this night. This morning, the EV management in my iSmart app worked again. Out of the blue.
