Yes, I remember when we went to Regent Street to see the Gumball Rally coming through a few years ago, and the local radio presenter, a Blonde girl who clearly had no clue about cars, was interviewing the drivers as they entered Regent Street, asking stupid questions and finishing with Give it a Rev, which was a crowd pleaser for the Astons, Bugatti's and Ferraris and hilarious when the Tesla Model S driver was asked to give it a rev..Well when they ask you to rev it.....
Yes, I agree, I love the Burble of the American V8's but it does get tiring after a while on a long drive, and we also have the boy racers here with extra loud exhausts and popping and banging, one of whom goes to work past my house at 5 am. At least when I go out early in my electric car I don't disturb anyone.Lol well we experience the loud pops and bangs here in my area daily from Merc, BMW boys. I think a hi vis jacket and a radar gun from Ebay will scare them away. Excess Noise is for small brained kids.
I enjoy a v6 and v8 from time to time as a car Enthusiast. Even a v10. But after a while it becomes tedious. These cars were made to be cold started in mansion garages and driven in the countryside or mountains. But when in residential area people should have some common sense. Noise cameras are coming in nationwide. Good luck
