This weekend took the week old MG5 LR from West Yorkshire over to Warrington to see sister in law. Sat evening was awful weather, heavy rain and plenty of cross winds going over the tops. Had heater on all way and used MG pilot. For 80 miles used 30% battery.
First time I have ever used anything like adaptive cruise control and lane assist but was really impressed, made for a relaxing trip and once you build confidence it doesn’t really let you down. If every car had this, then convinced you would see improved flow of traffic and accidents would surely decrease.
On way back tonight in better weather took 27% of battery. Looked at the trip and was saying 3.4kw for efficiency and 2.9 since getting the car a week ago.
Loving the car, the range is a game changer from my previous leaf and it just seems to do everything asked.
