Just posted in another thread a recent piece about donut lab claims.

Verge is closely associated with Donut labs.

It is looking like they are making some spurious claims, but we will find out the truth when an expert gets hold of one of these verge bikes and takes apart the battery.

There was a bit of a clue in the article before you watch the video, the size of the battery is thought to be between 20 and 30kWh....on a bicycle would be immense

That's a good point to consider weight as a sense-check.

A 30kwh battery with their claimed density weighs about the same as a human being.

At a more normal battery density it would essentially weigh two humans. Yet somehow fitting In the middle of a small-looking motorbike.
