OK, more of a general EV question... I'm looking out the window at a torrential downpour, and we have quite a few roads that flood around here. Now I know the electrics on the mG5 (generally) are IP67-rated (short immersion proof), but is anyone aware of any limitations/cautions to that? At least I won't be thinking "how high is the air inlet?.." :)
 
Hmm.. they seem happy enough; I'm not going to make a habit of it, but these vids (and few other bits I've seen elsewhere) add reassurance. At the end of the day, if the water's more than halfway up the wheels, I think I'd take another route, just to be on the safe side....
 
I would imagine that the 5 is equally well protected from water ingress.
 
I would think the 12v system will be more of a risk than the HV system for obvious reasons. But either way driving in deep water especially fast flowing should be avoided.
