Forward camera misted up

First proper cold morning of the year for us and we kept getting a warning that the forward camera wasn’t working. Got home and noticed that the inside of the windscreen where the camera lives is misted up. Any one else had this issue yet and how are we meant to clear it? Photo shows the issue.

I think it will only clear with heat @peds8045, so it should clear when the interior of the car warms up.

Yes I understand that but the rest of the windscreen was clear so shouldn’t this also be clear?

You'd hope so, but because that area is shielded, it's going to take a bit longer.

I get the same issue on my MG4 as I'm sure others do too. The housing stops most of the heat going to the rest of the windscreen getting in and clearing the mist. It just takes longer to clear as @MG Clive points out, as the whole of the car comes up to temperature and the moisture is driven out. With that in mind maybe the aircon would help. Just watch out though using the aircon, I've found unless you open the windows a bit when you turn it off, much of the moist air is "dumped" back into the car.
