The forward collision warning, although very useful, can be a bit mystifying at times. This morning, driving on an open road, no traffic within sight, no bends for about 600yds, no obstructions anywhere and just a grassed verge, this warning sign appeared to wake up and let itself be known!
I know it goes off on bends in the road, maybe parked cars nearby, mororists waiting at a T-junction and similar, but why this time? Gives me a bit of a chuckle when it usually does that and I try to identify the object in close proximity but this time, nothing near! Perhaps the grass needed cutting! Too long maybe? Your thoughts please.
