I've discovered the hard way - twice - that the Cyberster has a deceptively long front and it's too easy to touch immoveable objects with the dam/splitter. It's especially irritating as there actually are proximity sensors, however these are not functional whilst moving forwards but do strangely burst into life when reversing! I don't get the logic of this at all, but it's not uncommon; our EV6 had the same functionality when new, although a poke around in the associated menu on that did enable the sensors to also work whilst driving forward. Has anyone found a way to similarly get the front sensors to work in a more helpful manner?

It's a blessing that the 360 camera system is genuinely amazing, however it's a mild nuisance to have to switch the system into display mode. I guess the other solution would be to reverse in...

To get the front radar sensors to come on when moving forward:

Either stop the car, put it in reverse and then back into drive (which activates the sensors when you put in into reverse)

Or, swipe down on the centre console and press the PDC (and think that’s the name) and it’ll engage.

Both only work at low speed and will appear on the right hand screen.

And yes, it’s really annoying this doesn’t happen automatically below 5mph

Thanks; despite searching a pdf manual for any info on parking sensors, I had no idea it was possible to swipe down on the centre console display to access turning on the PDC.

I've not been out for a drive today but hopefully the PDC stays turned on next time I start up, or it's yet another thing I have to turn on/off every time.

Thanks again.
