Gearbox issues

500 miles on the clock and my mg3 hybrid in tomorrow for warranty software update maybe,? car lost all power on an incline with 80% hybrid battery car just stopped like it couldn't find a gear and then did a sudden jolt and revved it's nuts off , really safe driving luckily nobody was behind .Will see what happens tomorrow and will also be asking questions regarding the safety recall.

Yes finally got the car back after 5.5 hours was only meant to be 2 hours. Vehicle was checked found no fault with operation of the gearbox.but they did find a stored code p0402 EGR flow code stored which could have been connected to the cause for the vehicle to just stop , software update was set at correct level . Also my 360 cameras stopped operating correctly at road junctions they did a 12 volt battery reset and are working at the moment, was told to monitor both , driving the car today the gearbox seemed to be operating better seemed to be staying in ev mode longer on hills ? Maybe my imagination Also was given courtesy car at no cost to me .
